DOT regulations also require an annual drug test.What You'll Do:As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting store deliveries, donation pickups, and materials between our facilities. This is more than just a driving job, it's a role that helps change lives through the power of work.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a Class A tractor trailer across designated routesLoad, secure, and protect cargo, including donations, retail goods, and raw materialsMaintain clear, consistent communication with dispatchComplete all required paperwork, including vehicle logs and inspection reportsConduct daily maintenance checks and report any issues promptlyUphold all safety and operational protocolsRepresent Goodwill Central Texas with professionalism and customer service excellenceWhat We're Looking For:Age: 21+License: Valid Texas Class A CDL and current DOT Medical CardExperience: Proven ability to operate a tractor trailer safely and efficientlyCommunication: Ability to speak, read, and write in EnglishPhysical Requirements: Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, and twist for up to 8 hoursEnvironment: Must be comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environmentsWhy Join Us?At Goodwill Central Texas, your work helps fuel education, job training, and employment opportunities for thousands in our community.
