:

Are you someone with an eye for detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment? The Assistant Buyer supports the Lead Buyer by entering product information, pricing, scheduling incoming/receiving freight, and communicating with product vendors.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory - create SKUs, post and acknowledge purchase orders, update ETAs, data entry, update price lists Retail Price and Information Tags - print tags, create and update point of purchase materials Custom Orders - process and enter customer custom orders with exceptional accuracy Vendor Relations - establish and maintain rapport with vendor representatives, follow up on purchase orders, resolve invoice discrepancies, damages, and returns Customer Service - support Customer Service, Sales Staff, and Sales Managers with vendor shipping status, product availability, and product information

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma required. Previous experience preferred
• Proficiency in math, analysis, spreadsheets
• Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs and Google Sheets is a must
• Detail-oriented, organized, and flexible
• Excellent communication and follow through
• Multi-task and prioritize while maintaining accuracy
• Flexible with work schedules and be available, as needed, to work occasional evenings and holidays
